By Carol Cooper

Thrill, adrenaline rush are other names for deep sea fishing. Imagine being in a fair distance from the coast and excursion in waters 30 feet or deeper for some tuna, marlins, sharks and swordfish. Isn't that exciting? It could easily feature as one of those 100 things to do in life before dying. Deep sea fishing or not, fishing safety is something you can't just ignore. Let us now take a look at Cozumel Fishing trip.

There are many things that you can do while enjoying your vacation in Cozumel, and if you are unsure of where to go or what to see there are a lot of people that can point you in the right direction so that you can find what it is you are looking for.

The true riches of this country comes from sheer beauty of the untamed wilderness and the un-breakable spirit of the people that have lived here for all of their lives. When you come here on vacation you will not be able to deny the fact that the native people here are full of life and spirit and that is the real richness of Cozumel.

Book a trip with a good firm and all the equipment you need for a successful day on the waves will be supplied, including lures, live bait, reels and special big game rods. The crew will also know exactly where the best spots for excursion are, giving you a good chance of landing a monster catch.

You may also encounter the slightly smaller but no less valued black marlin during your day on the waves. As a keen fishermen you will no doubt be aware of the importance of conservation and be pleased to hear that all marlin are returned to the sea after being caught - although you will have the chance to get your photo taken with your prize first.

Just like deer and ducks, fishing has hunting seasons. Some boats will take you on your trip no matter what season it is. What they won't tell you is that you can't keep the fish you catch unless it's in season. Why catch "the big one" and have your picture snapped on the boat only to throw your fish back in the water? Consider the local fishing limits before you venture out to sea.

If you want to go on an exclusive charter for a Tuna expedition, it's going to be at least a two-day trip. Even a long trip can take up your whole day. Save your money and don't book the room until after the fishing trip. If you come up with an empty catch, at least all you've spent money on was the adventure.

Once you get your day's fish and head back to the shore, your family will no doubt be thrilled by the bold experience - and hopefully the big catch - that Cozumel deep sea excursion has brought them. It's a great adventure for a family of thrill-seeking people!
