Equestrian Events And How They Work

By Frances Price

Horses have been an integral part of societies, and these can be ones that have traditions that date back to ancient times. The equines were always a common thing for many past and present civilizations, proven by old sports in which horses participate. With intelligence, power, speed and grace, they display what they are made of in these sports to the admiration of many.

Many people are into horse breeding as a livelihood, and bring up and train them to participate in the said sports. They may participate in a thing like equestrian events Oregon, which is a much appreciated sport in the city Oregon. People who belong to the horse breeder clubs have all the unique qualities of horse people.

Human history also sees how civilizations have risen and fallen with them, although in those they participants are in genteel and friendly proceedings. Equines are the friendliest beings that people know. These will act very much differently from those beings of equines that are found living wild and free in some areas.

Only a very few of these roam the wild today though. Equines are among those species that are fully domesticated, and in this sense their relationship with humanity is an acceptance of the roles that humans have developed for them. Being in sports is also in tune with their sense of playfulness, and thus can appreciate their formal playgrounds.

Bonds between trainers and riders and their animals are unique, and any rider can say that they are not in it to look graceful or powerful, but participate because they want to compete. Equestrian is an ancient sport that was specifically designed to be playgrounds for humans and horses. This game is also more attuned to their intelligence as compared to more direct races.

You can see how horses are very thoughtful in these events, as they negotiate the course at half speed. They have to slow enough to negotiate the twists and turns as well as jumps of the equestrian course. Their thinking process becomes obvious and their reactions are the ones that equine lovers admire and keep as references for their own activities with horses.

The state of Oregon plays host to many breeding farms and these are always good sources of horseflesh. Collectors, families who like their hooved and shod companions, farmers, other breeders and all kinds of admirers are some of the customers for these places. These are often very well equipped to train their one or two year olds to participate in equestrians.

Events here are often governed by formally appointed organizations, which may schedule games and league play, and also require qualifications from entrants. Most operate like any club that has use of trained animals, but horsing sports are typically not violent. Most animal based games have the worst reputation fort abusiveness and with gambling always on the side.

The equines are the real VIPs in events like these, and probably know that, too, but they all focus on what trainers or riders want them to do. Games are special occasions, the focal point of training, but these they might consider just another routine. Their psychology says that having a closeness with their humans is the thing that makes them work.
